Profile

Latipay is the winner of the main prize at the Australia New Zealand Internet Awards (ANZIA) as Tech Start Up Of The Year 2016.

Latipay is a Kiwi company that provides New Zealand businesses with the payment tools to work directly with Chinese consumers.

The fully compliant Tech Start Up is the only platform that allows Kiwi businesses in the education, travel and e-commerce sector to offer their Chinese students, travellers or consumers a way to pay through the following platforms: WeChat, Alipay, JDPay, & 19 of the main Chinese Online Banks.

The Chinese payer transacts in Chinese Yuan (CNY) through their e-wallet or bank and the New Zealand businesses gets paid in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) all in real time.

Latipay’s three products range from their invoicing platform for larger transactions, their e-commerce payments button for websites ,through to their Point of Sale QR code facility for smaller retail transactions.

Latipay works with some of the largest and most recognised Kiwi brands that interact with Chinese students, travellers and education providers, and this Tech Start Up Award confirms their place as the only compliant provider of these facilities and a leading New Zealand Financial Technology Company.

Latipay operates within the Chinese State Approved Foreign Exchange guidelines (S.A.F.E) and partnered with Price Waterhouse Coopers (PWC) for their full New Zealand compliance requirements.
