Jilin Cultural Week and 8th NZ Chinese Arts Exhibition

To provide a platform for Chinese artists and art amateurs to demonstrate their talent and success and to promote Jilin culture in main stream of New Zealand Societies, Pacific Culture and Arts Exchange Centre and North Arts Centre of North Shore City, in associations with Information Office of Jilin Provincial Government, Jilin Provincial Television, New Zealand Triangle Television, and New Zealand Jilin Fellowship Association, are presenting 2010 (8th) New Zealand Chinese Arts Exhibition and New Zealand Jilin Cultural Week 2010 (Jilin Photo Exhibition, Jilin Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition and Jilin Television Week) scheduled on 7-14 February 2010.

Shanghai Expo 2010

The Expo will be held on a 528 hectare site located between the Nanpu and Lupu Bridges along both sides of the Huangpu River in Shanghai. Its theme is Better City, Better Life and the new thinking, new technologies and new practices for achieving healthy and sustainable urban living. To date 178 countries and 44 international corporations have confirmed that they will participate and the anticipated attendance of more than 70 million visitors will make this one of the largest expos ever held.
